I scream for you/ to hear these words/ but nothing comes out/ nothing is heard/ try to listen/ watch carefully as I reveal/ what's underneath my skin/ hid behind my ribs/ I don't deserve your attention/ just speak to me through walls of glass/ tell me things I haven't heard before/ I can admit I'm nervous for what's to come/ these things just won't last/ everything fall apart just the same/ I'm trying to make my amends/ I stare blankly/ but things are growing clearer/ my disdain with this figure/ reflected in the mirror/ and don't mean to paint such a picture/ completely non objective/ but with far too fine a point/
